Prayer Ministry

buy custom essays onlinePrayer is an integral part of Christian life, it enables us to build a very close relationship with God. Praying regularly draws us near to God, involves coming close—just the way you wish to be with those you love. We need to know a person so we can know more about that person and grow closer to that person. It is the same with our connection to God.

Purpose Statement

The goal of our prayer ministry is to equip, enable and encourage church members to pray continually and effectively while making prayer a part of everything they do.

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Romans 12:12

Prayer Gatherings at Church

Fasting Prayer – Every Friday at 12 PM

Prayer and Fasting – Spending time in prayer and fasting is not automatically effective in accomplishing the desires of those who fast. Fasting or no fasting, God only promises to answer our prayers when we ask according to His will. 1 John 5:14-15 tells us, “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us – whatever we ask – we know that we have what we asked of him.

All Night Prayer Every second Friday of the month 10 PM onward

A night of Prayer – All night prayer is not something that is comfortable to your flesh. Successful all night prayer takes a made up mind, a determined will, a willingness to sacrifice sleep, a heart of expectation, a belief in the power of God, the character of God and the willingness and desire of God. When we bring these together into all night prayer – God will meet you, transform you and your circumstances. Volunteers meet every second Friday of the month and take turns praying through the night.
